Crackle and NBCUniversal Television & New Media Distribution Announce Exclusive Multi-Year Licensing Feature Films Deal

Film Titles to Begin Premiering Today

Culver City, Calif.(04 Apr 2014)

Crackle and NBCUniversal Television & New Media Distribution today announced an exclusive, multi-year content licensing deal to stream feature films from NBCUniversal’s rich film library on the free, ad-supported streaming service. Beginning today, Crackle users will instantly have access to several new premium library feature films, with more than 140 new library titles rolling out over the next three years.

The deal gives Crackle the exclusive ad-supported video on demand (AVOD) rights to a variety of feature films including the big-screen reboot of MIAMI VICE, starring Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx; the powerful war dramaJARHEAD, starring Jake Gyllenhaal; the remake of KING KONG, starring Naomi Watts and Jack Black; and the Academy Award winning biography RAY, starring Jamie Foxx.
