DISH’s Technology Provider to Boost Internet TV Offerings With Integrated Big Data Analytics and Optimization

Conviva, the leader in real-time big data, viewer-centric video optimization, today announced it signed an agreement with EchoStar Technologies L.L.C. (“EchoStar”), a wholly owned subsidiary of EchoStar Corporation (NASDAQ: SATS). EchoStar is a premier global provider of satellite operations and video delivery solutions, and is the primary technology partner for DISH Network L.L.C (“DISH”). Through this agreement, Conviva’s Intelligent Control Platform will ensure high-quality streaming delivery for EchoStar’s IP-based offerings, DISH Anywhere™ and DishWorld.
To ensure the best viewing experience for subscribers, Conviva’s Intelligent Control Platform will provide the most comprehensive real-time quality and audience metrics available through its analytics offering, Insights. It will also introduce video optimization with Conviva Precision, providing the control to deliver a consistent high-quality experience in an unpredictable Internet environment.
