Bulldog Digital Media creates exchange program –Allowing brands to participate in numerous music festivals throughout the season

Gives brands the ability to target their audiences across genres

LOS ANGELES (10 Nov 2014)

Bulldog Digital Media is working with an expanding portfolio of music festivals to provide an exchange that allows brands to align with several festivals over the course of the festival season.  Many festivals touch all genres and while others are themed and focus more specifically on a genre.  Bulldog DM has created the exchange to support marketers looking for either type of initiative.

“Our exchange concept came from direct feedback from brands indicating they wanted to simplify their engagement process and support multiple genres at the same time.  The brand can align with the type of artist whose audience they are targeting. It’s a “win-win” for everyone,” says John Petrocelli, CEO Bulldog Digital Media.

The digital live stream experience provides greater targeting and more detailed metrics not available from more traditional and costly forms of advertising and sponsorships.  Festivals rely and focus on heavily optimizing the social stream and look to create things like photo walls, polling gadgets, trivia widgets and things like 360 camera views.  This provides a far deeper audience engagement and a real interest from the viewer to participate in all of these optimizations and to switch stages and video channels in order to customize their experience.

“A mobile carrier with a new offer for consumers, an automaker with a new model for the first time car buyer, an energy drink or beverage company that wants to connect with millennials or a retailer that wants to reach the country music aficionado are ideal brand candidates for this strategy. Moreover digital brands like Uber, Amazon, and AirBnB are natural partners for these campaigns as are studios looking to promote their latest movie release,” says Petrocelli.

IROCKE.COM, the leading guide to live streaming concerts worldwide, co-founder and CEO Karl Rogers noted “More artists and fans are connecting online for live music experiences than ever before.   We indexed over 20,000 live events and 36,000 live performances during the first three quarters of 2014, up significantly from all prior years.”  During the peak summer festival season of 2014 there were 52 million unique monthly viewers of live streamed music based on our peer-reviewed analysis of global live stream video traffic volume, live music event viewer counts, and site traffic.
