The use of Unified Origin for VOD streaming has proven to be the perfect solution for delivering
Globo.com’s entire video library to an array of devices including smartphones, tablets, connected TVs, videogame consoles, Chromecast and Apple TV. All of their differing protocols and distinct business needs have posed no problem, thanks to Unified Origin’s flexibility.
Now through just a single deployment,
Globo.com can handle HDS with DRM (Adobe Access) or without, HLS, MSS with DRM (PlayReady) or without and MPEG-DASH.
