Video On Demand is streaming content that comes in one of two flavors: live and on-demand. On-demand content accounts for more than 95% of all video viewing on the web, from user-generated content placed on OVP platforms to premium movie content offered as an OTT service. Video on demand is also used by MSOs or cable providers to allow customers to watch premium content on their own schedule rather than live at a specific time.
