Rafah Hosn is currently working as a principal program manager at Microsoft Research NY. In her role, she is helping establish an organization focused on Reinforcement Learning that spans Research and Development. Rafah started her career in Research in Bell Northern Research in Canada working on Natural Language Understanding. She them moved to IBM where she spent 13 years in Research exploring various areas from Dialog Management, to Programming Models to Intelligent Cloud monitoring and recovery  systems. After earning an Executive MBA, she led a product management team in IBM’s tooling organization, then a development team in IBM’s Watson division before moving to Microsoft. Rafah has as BEng Computer Engineering from McGill, a Masters in Computer Science from McGill and an Executive MBA from Columbia University - NY.
