Andre Vawdrey is Director of Partner Solutions for NBC Sports Digital Technology, responsible for the implementation of new customer solutions in the Playmaker Media business, NBC Sports Group’s enterprise content delivery service that leverages existing NBCSG technology infrastructure, operations, & relationships. In this role, Andre helps partners such as the IOC and NASCAR in their international OTT product builds. He also works across multiple internal initiatives at NBC such as event-based digital workflows that include streaming of the Olympic Games on Comcast Xfinity service as well as NBC News’ live digital coverage of the past Presidential Inauguration and Election.

Prior to joining NBC Sports in 2010, Andre worked in NBC Digital Distribution for three years supporting MVPD’s such as Sprint and AT&T for the distribution of both live and video on demand Cable and Broadcast content on those digital platforms including the first ever live streaming of a Telemundo soccer game on Verizon’s mobile video service. Prior to NBC, Andre worked as a freelance Assistant Avid Editor cutting for on-air shows on MTV, HGTV, and ESPN.

Andre holds a BFA from the University of Utah and an MFA from Illinois State University and earned CSPO (Certified Specialist in Agile Product Owner) certification. He currently lives in Astoria, New York with his wife Cheryl and two wonderful children.
