Dan Goodman is co-founder of Believe Entertainment Group, a New York City-based digital entertainment company producing high-profile content in partnership with elite talent and leading brands through a variety of digital outlets such as web, mobile, VOD and social media.
 
Believe Entertainment Group has launched a steady stream of recent projects including: The  LeBrons, an original, animated Web series with two-time NBA champion and four-time league MVP LeBron James, on Xbox LIVE (the-lebrons.com); In the Booth, a documentary-style series with DJ/Producer Tiësto (youtube.com/Tiesto); Money Where Your Mouth Is, an original game show series hosted by comedian, actor, radio host and author, Jay Mohr, that was ranked the top game show of Winter 2013-14 on Hulu and Hulu Plus; Inspired: by Sabrina, a women’s lifestyle show hosted by HGTV star Sabrina Soto; and @EpicEDM, an ongoing original content series featuring top electronic dance music (EDM) artists, festivals and clubs worldwide that is the first studio-originated content series designed specifically for the Twitter platform. In 2015 Goodman and Believe Entertainment Group announced the launch of a new studio division developing and producing digital-first original series for OTT and digital distribution partners including Maker Studios, Mashable, Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, Time Inc., New York Post, and Haven Home Media, a division of Reader's Digest Association. The studio division also develops and produces premium branded entertainment programs exclusively for individual brands, including the original animated series with Marriott International, “Hot Shoppe.”
 
Earlier projects include a lifestyle and entertainment news series with Jennifer Lopez and Nuyorican Productions, TBE, distributed through and in partnership with AOL (cambio.com/tbe); an alliance with Paramount Digital Entertainment (PDE) working together on the hit digital series The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers (The LXD), created by Jon M. Chu (Step Up 2: The Streets and Step Up 3D) and distributed through Hulu; and an expanded partnership with MommyCast, the Webby Award winning multi-medium show for moms. The studio is known for its trailblazing 2011 launch of The LeBrons with LeBron James and brand partners HP, Intel, Bing, Sprite and Nike, that premiered on YouTube (youtube.com/TheLeBrons) and was distributed through LeBron’s Facebook, Twitter, and a dedicated section of LeBronJames.com.
 
Prior to Believe Entertainment Group, Goodman was President of Digital Media for Media Rights Capital (“MRC”), an independent Los Angeles-based studio. Among the digital programs Goodman led were innovative new entertainment projects including Seth MacFarlane’s Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy, a series of animated web shorts that quickly became one of the biggest professional content efforts to-date on YouTube, meinspace.com, an online effort to support Sacha Baron Cohen’s Bruno, as well as original short-form content with the world famous improv troupe, The Second City. His extensive experience in advertising and marketing has led to brand and distribution partnerships with well-known, respected brands such as Intel, Sprite, Nike, P&G, HP, J&J, Microsoft, Acer, Campbell’s, McDonald’s, U.S. Army and Dell, as well as key distribution relationships delivering scalable audiences for his projects including YouTube, Hulu, Xbox, Twitter, Facebook, AOL and iTunes.
 
Goodman’s aggressive efforts with these and other projects earned him a spot on The Hollywood Reporter’s Top 50 Digital Power List in 2008, 2009 and 2010.
 
Goodman was formerly Chief Digital Officer of the global ad agency Ogilvy, where he was responsible for all digital efforts in the New York office and also ran OgilvyInteractive NY, named AdWeek’s Interactive Agency of the Year in 2005. During his tenure, OgilvyInteractive was consistently recognized as one of the industry’s top global interactive agencies. Goodman also founded a viral email marketing company focused on digital referral and peer-to-peer-based communications and was the former managing director of digital at Lowe, a global ad agency owned by parent company Interpublic Group. During his career he has helped some of the world’s most well-known, respected brands, such as IBM, Heineken, Burger King, Time Warner Cable, Priceline, Six Flags, State Farm, Dell, Nike, American Express, Coca-Cola, P&G, Unilever, Microsoft, Mercedes-Benz and more pave the way in marketing and content development in the digital space.
 
Goodman has been a requested speaker at numerous industry events including NATPE, CES, Advertising Week, Digital Hollywood, OMMA Global (keynote), OMMA@SXSW, DIGIDAY Video Upfront NY (keynote), Future of Television East and New York Television Festival.
