Tim Siglin is a contributing editor for StreamingMedia.com. He serves as Chairman of Braintrust Digital, a digital media production company, and is a co-founder of the go-to-market consulting firm, Transitions, Inc. He has been involved full-time with strategic consulting and integration in the visual communications and digital media fields for over fifteen years. Braintrust Digital is a media production and design company specializing in creation and delivery of content through traditional and new media. Braintrust also provides AV integration services for select clients that require high-quality viewing experiences on corporate, religious and educational campuses. Transitions, Inc. - a business and technology development firm - assists startups and hypergrowth businesses in the financial services, digital media and advertising / marketing industries. Prior to co-founding Transitions Inc., Mr. Siglin served in various technical and executive roles at the Hampton-James media consultancy and Century VII, Inc., a production and design company. While at Century VII, Siglin completed an MBA in entrepreneurship and was tasked with designing Century VII’s six-step consulting model. This model formed the basis of all of Century VII's consulting engagements and compelled both the client and consulting team to provide mutual feedback at numerous stages of the project. At Hampton-James, Siglin and his colleagues refined the model to allow small consultancies to manage numerous on-going technical and business projects for a wide client base. Transitions' founders bring experience dealing with three Fortune 10 companies, numerous Fortune 100 and multiple small businesses. Ongoing projects of particular interest include established businesses and startups in the digital media, financial services and marketing industries. Repeat customers accounts for more than 80% of all on-going business. Additional experience also includes work in motion picture production and crisis management public relations.
