Technology has a magical way of constantly reducing the physical size and cost of computing power while constantly expanding in absolute power and applications. After a lifetime of revolutionary advancements, we generally take these benefits for granted.
In the vast domain of broadcast technology, we have yet to see such transformative change. As equipment shrinks from a room full of production equipment to a smart phone, tablet computer or consumer camcorder, media production, distribution and the diversity of content will change radically.

We see an opportunity in digital broadcasting where virtually anyone can become a broadcaster, create a digital television channel, and reach a global audience -- for pennies on the dollar -- compared to just five years ago. Instead of millions of dollars in barriers to entry, cottage industries can now compete with Disney, CBS, or other major media brands.
We expect simple connected recording devices, combined with state-of-the-art client software, to drive the technological, economic and new media revolution.
