Yack Launches Broadband Section

Yack said today it was launching a broadband edition of the site called Fast Yack (http://fast.yack.com).

"Yack has long been dedicated to evangelizing Web users to the joys of broadband entertainment," stated Jeff Morris, President and CEO of Yack. "Fast Yack is our invitation to the world to join the broadband revolution."

Fast Yack is a graphically-rich, Flash-enhanced site, making it more appealing to broadband users. Yack's listings also reflect the broadband audience showcasing audio/video events using high bit rates.

Two weeks ago, Yack announced it had acquired long-time rival Channelseek, another broadband guide for an undisclosed amount. The Channelseek (http://www.channelseek.com) website is still operational, however, and also boasts its own broadband site, launched a few months ago.
