White Pine Announces Changes to Board of Directors

White Pine Software (http://www.wpine.com)announced several changes to its board of directors.

Joseph J. Esposito was appointed to the board of directors. Espositowas the President and CEO of Tribal Voice, a provider of instant messaging and online community solutions, until he sold the company to CMGI late in 1999.

Also, Arthur Bruno announced his retirement from the board. Bruno has served as chairman of the Company's board since June 1997, prior to which he had served as a director since 1994. From 1991 to 1993, Bruno served as White Pine's Chairman and CEO.

Killko Caballero, White Pine's CEO and President, has been appointed toreplace Mr. Bruno as chairman. The size of the Company's board remains atfour directors.

Arthur Bruno summarized, "Killko and his team have done a great job inpositioning White Pine to become the leading ASP for interactive videocommunications over the Internet. I am convinced the Company is about toenter a period of significant growth in revenue and technology, and Killko hasthe vision and leadership qualities to successfully accomplish the Company'sgoals."
