Waves Releases MaxxStream 3.0

Waves Ltd..(www.waves.com), a supplier of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) solutions, announced the release of MaxxStream 3.0, the newest version of its product line for enabling audio to be pre-processed and streamed over the Internet.

MaxxStream integrates audio capture, processing and encoding into a single hardware/software workstation. It is available as a PCI card and software package or as a rack-mounted system.

The latest version features: open support for any streaming audio encoder or format, the ability to process audio from an external audio or software source, full support for Waves version 3.0 processors, and a new graphical interface.

In addition to the new features, MaxxStream 3.0 also offers a range of enhancements including: a multi-band compressor that offers the ability to control the dynamics of multiple bands simultaneously; professional and consumer standard audio connections, which make it compatible with all product types; and enhanced control -- the hardware settings and parameters can be changed from within the MaxxStream application.

"The innovations in version 3.0 further differentiate MaxxStream as the most complete solution available for Internet and audio streaming," said Gilad Keren, chairman and CEO of Waves. "It now offers our customers total versatility by enabling true plug and play audio streaming using any encoding software, for any application in both the project and professional markets."
