ViewCast Partners with Brightcove for Easy Distribution

Customers of the ViewCast Media Platform (VMp), used for enterprise video distribution, are now able to automate media circulation with Brightcove's online video platform. Brightcove has been integrated into VMp, letting users transfer content more easily and simplify their distribution workflow.

Users will be able to automate transfers using Brightcove, in order to streamline their workflows. Content hosted with VMp can be sent directly to Brightcove, where it will be transcoded, paired with the correct player template, and streamed online. Metadata is supported with this integration, as data associated with media assets will travel with the videos.

"VMp is a natural complement to Brightcove's online video platform, providing advanced production and management capabilities that automate and simplify complex workflows," says ViewCast president and CEO Dave Stoner. "The integration of VMp with Brightcove exemplifies our continued commitment to working with other technology leaders to help organizations of all sizes and charters harness the transformative power of digital media."

"Brightcove is glad to welcome ViewCast to our global ecosystem of technology partners, the Brightcove Alliance," says Chris Johnston, director of technology partnerships at Brightcove. "ViewCast is a prime example of the excellent solutions that have integrated with the Brightcove platform to support and enhance the success of our customers."
