VideoGreetings.com Introduces Free Video E-mail Greetings

VideoGreetings.com (http://www.videogreetings.com) announced free video e-mail greetings that come from shows like "America's Funniest Home Videos." Coming soon will be greetings from Comedy Central's, "The Man Show."

Other video content will continue to be added to the site from other sources.

Users can choose to send greetings for special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, "miss you", get well and other categories. Each video greeting has music, sound effects and a voice-over. Users can preview a video, add a personal message and then e-mail their video greeting.

The greetings can be viewed with players such as RealPlayer, QuickTime and Windows Media Player.

VideoGreetings.com says they are even interested in receiving submissions from amateurs for possible inclusion on the site. Each week several creative submissions will be chosen and added to the VideoGreetings.com site. Every quarter, the most popular amateur video greeting -- the one that has been sent and received the most often -- wins the Pinnacle Award, a cash prize of $5,000.

Partners and investors in the site include video editing company Pinnacle Systems (http://www.pinnaclesys.com) based in Mountain View, California.
