V-Span Hires Executives to Expand Broadband Initiatives

V-SPAN (http://www.v-span.com), a communications service provider announced the hiring of Richard Ruben as Vice President of Corporate Development and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Also, Jeff Dayton was named Chief Information Officer (CIO).

V-SPAN is adding to their executive team to begin focusing on the company's broadband initiatives and create a portal for broadband communications.

With the extensive experience in technology and business development that Jeff and Rich bring to the organization, we are confident that they will successfully direct V-SPAN in the implementation of our broadband Internet communications strategy," states Ken Hayward, president and founder of V-SPAN.

Mr. Ruben is currently on the board of directors for a number of technology companies. He served in Bell Atlantic's Corporate Strategic Planning Organization and later joined Bell Atlantic Mobile as their Vice President of Planning and CFO.

Mr. Dayton held key executive positions in some of the top technology companies in America. He joined BellSouth information Systems, a software development and I/T outsourcing firm, where he led software development and technical infrastructure initiatives.
