Pinnacle Systems Launches Internet Webcasting Business

Pinnacle Systems Inc. (http://www.pinnaclesys.com) announced the formation of its new Webcasting Solutions Business pushing the company directly into the streaming media market.

Pinnacle said it appointed Greg Lowitz as Webcasting Solutions Business Director. "We are fortunate to have Greg Lowitz leading our new Webcasting Solutions Business," said Mark Sanders, Pinnacle Systems CEO. "As the former Vice President of Sales for Louth Automation -- coupled with 14 years of international business and technical management experience at Hewlett-Packard -- Greg has a proven track record in growing new businesses."

Pinnacle recently introduced the StreamGenie, a portable live Webcasting solution-in-a-box targeted at corporations, live-events producers and broadcasters.
