News Broadcast Network and Hitplay Media Partner

Hitplay Media (http://www.hitplay.com) announced a content relationship with New York-based News Broadcast Network ( http://www.newsbroadcastnetwork.com) for the delivery of entertainment video on Hitplay's Targeted Video Network.

Essentially, this means that NBN will deliver original and archived entertainment, celebrity interviews, special event coverage, and fashion news video to Hitplay.

"This partnership demonstrates the growing importance of the streaming video and the broadband audience to the media relations industry. We believe our clients will benefit from this partnership with Hitplay as they become one of the leading on-demand networks," said Michael Hill, president of News Broadcast Network.

Hitplay Media is gearing up to launch an "entertainment network" in spring 2000. Hitplay will have video on entertainment, extreme sports, music, and fashion.

Hitplay says they have patent-pending technology for dynamic insertion of targeted video advertising. It also has plans to distribute its content to the world beyond PCs, like screen phones and other Internet appliances.

"Hitplay can tap News Broadcast Network's weekly coverage and content libraries for our on-demand channels. Together, we will offer terrific entertainment news coverage for our end-users and affiliates," says Hitplay President and CEO Todd Harris.
