MediaOnDemand.com and Akamai Team up

MediaOnDemand.com (www.mediaondemand.com), a streaming multimedia application service provider with a content distribution network is teaming up with Akamai Technologies, a content delivery service provider (CDSP). Under strategic agreement MediaOnDemand.com will offer all of Akamai's streaming solutions to its customers for interactive Web conferencing. Users of MediaOnDemand.com's services will now be able to incorporate audio and video streaming media in their Web conferences.

According to the companies, they are focusing the new relationship on the financial services community using the combined physical presence of Akamai and MediaOnDemand.com in major financial centers including New York, London, Tokyo, San Francisco, and Boston.
