Interwoven Expands Executive Management Team

Interwoven, Inc (NASDAQ: IWOV) a leading provider of content management solutions for the enterprise Web, today announced the addition of three new executives: John W. Van Siclen as vice president, corporate development, Jose J. Briceno as vice president, Asia Pacific, and Jan Nordhagen as vice president, European operations. The hiring of these three executives accelerates Interwoven's expansion into international markets while maintaining its leadership position domestically.

Prior to joining Interwoven, Mr. Van Siclen was president and CEO of Perspecta, where he orchestrated the sale of Perspecta to Excite@Home which will use the Perspecta technology as the foundation for its next generation shopping service. Mr. Van Siclen has over 21 years experience in the technology industry, primarily focused in business development.

Briceno comes to Interwoven from SeeItFirst.com, an Internet start-up company focused on the areas of streaming video and networking, where he was responsible for product management, strategic alliances, product licensing and international sales and marketing. Mr. Briceno holds a B.A. in material science and metallurgical engineering from Simon Bolivar University and a Ph.D. in metallurgical engineering from Tokyo University.

Nordhagen comes to Interwoven from IMM AS where he was chairman and managing director of IMM Ltd. of Oxford, England. IMM is a medical IT company offering information solutions to medical professionals. In addition, Mr. Nordhagen brings 20 years international experience working closely with U.S. technology firms. Mr. Nordhagen holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Heriot-Watt University and studied Business Administration at the University of California, Berkeley.
