Hollywood.com to Stream Indie Films from CinemaNow

Hollywood.com, Inc. and CinemaNow have formed a strategic alliance to stream independent films on Hollywood.com's consumer and professional sites.

Industry executives and show business professionals who are subscribers to Hollywood.com's B2B unit Baseline) will be able to watch indie films as well as have access to contact information. At the same time, the general public will be able to view downloadable films from CinemaNow's library on Hollywood.com.

"By showcasing top-quality indie films on Baseline and Hollywood.com and by utilizing CinemaNow's ongoing indie film flow, we are providing an outlet for independent filmmakers to spotlight their wares to the two key groups they covet the most -- industry executives anxious to discover exciting new talent, and a mainstream, movie-going audience eagerly awaiting the next wave of actors and directors," said Laurie Silvers, president of Hollywood.com Inc.

Baseline provides filmmakers with production informationto help them plan future projects, including a database with information on more than 100,000 films and television series, ranging from above- and below-the-line credits to box office grosses, production schedules, and budget statistics, as well as contact information on thousands of industry insiders. Credits for the CinemaNow indie films will also be added to Baseline's database of production information.

Baseline's subscriber base includes Viacom, Warner Bros., Paramount, MGM, Universal Pictures, ABC, Turner, Entertainment Tonight, E! Entertainment Television, People Magazine and Virgin Records. Portions of Baseline's database content are also featured on Hollywood.com.

In addition to its indie shorts, CinemaNow will provide full-lengthfeature films from its library for exhibition on Hollywood.com. The CinemaNow library of feature length titles draws from Trimark Pictures, the distributor of "Eve's Bayou," "Happiness" and the director's cut of "Natural Born Killers," as well as from Hong Kong cinema specialist Tai Seng and others.
