Excite@Home International: European Q1 Financial & Operating Highlights

· Excite Europe:
Combined net revenue for the European Excite businesses, which provide servicesto seven major markets including the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy,Sweden and the Netherlands, increased 550% compared with the quarter endedMarch 31, 1999. Excite's European businesses generated a total of 483 million pageviews in Q1 2000, up 161% from the period ended March 31, 1999, making Excite Europe one of the leading Internet networks in Europe. A total of 703 different advertisers appeared on Excite's European sites in Q1, resulting in anaverageRPM (revenue per 1,000 pages) across Excite's European sites above$18.00,substantially ahead of other category competitors.

Excite Europe launched a record number of consumer services in the firstquarter of 2000, notably:
· The mid-February launch of Excite Mobile, enabling Excite UK users toreceive their personalised information over their mobile telephones. Excitewasthe first in its competitive set to launch a WAP (Wireless ApplicationsProtocol) service in Europe.
· Distribution relationships with Vodafone and BT Cellnet to make ExciteMobile available to their UK subscribers via their WAP gatewayservices.@Home Europe:
@Home Benelux, which provides subscription-based broadband Internet services in the Netherlands and Belgium, recorded subscriber growth of 20% to 30% per month during the first quarter. @Home Germany's launch awaits the outcome ofongoingcable sales by Deutsche Telekom.
