Emblaze Gets Wireless Content from ShowMeTV

Israeli-based GEO Interactive (www.emblaze.com) said it was getting video clips from ShowMeTV ( www.showmetv.com) .com) for use on its wireless video platform.

GEO's Emblaze technology can deliver MPEG-4 compliant audio and video to cellular networks over current 2G and future 2.5G and 3G networks.

ShowMeTV will allow users to view 3-5 minute video segments and purchase related products using mobile telephones and other wireless devices. ShowMeTV has more than 1,000 programs that cover topics like: How to Improve your Golf Swing and How to Test Drive a Car.

According to Laurence Nathanson, ShowMeTV's Director of Business Development, "ShowMeTV's short format how-to video programs fit into a sweet spot for wireless delivery and provide wireless carriers with a compelling product offering to their subscribers. Our clips are short, targeted and provide consumers with useful and needed information along with the tools to implement that knowledge."
