Data Translation's Broadway Video Editor Adds Live Streaming Capability

Software maker Data Translation (http://www.datatranslation.com) announced the release of Broadway Pro 4.5, its video editing software that now includes live streaming video support using RealNetworks' technology.

"Data Translation continues to enhance our award-winning product Broadway with features that allow our users with little or no experience to become professional video producers," said Fred Molinari, president and CEO of Data Translation. "Having listened to our customers' needs, our latest release, Broadway Pro 4.5, allows real-time video and audio broadcasting for the Web with a live streaming capability - the ability to create the equivalent of a live TV station for the Internet. Broadway Pro 4.5 will also be bundled with M1-edit Lite, MPEG editing software. The M1-edit Lite version comes bundled with Broadway Pro 4.5. Users can upgrade to the advanced features of M1-edit Pro for an additional fee.

Broadway Pro 4.5 (http://www.b-way.com) will be available the end of January. Current Broadway customers can download the streaming upgrade for $50.
