Clinton’s State of the Union to be Webcast
For those stuck at the office without a TV, a few sites offer an alternative for watching President Clinton's State of the Union address tonight at 9 p.m., ET.
WorldStream has teamed up with Voter.com to present an entire evening's worth of programming. First it will have a pre-presentation discussion by directors at Voter.com, then show Clinton's actual address, the Republican response and finally reaction to the President's speech by Senators and members of the House of Representatives. You can find the event at Voter.com (
http://www.voter.com) or by using this direct link: (http://wscbeta04.worldstream.com/login/login.cfm?showtimeid=5545786)
Other good bets are sites like CNN (http://www.cnn.com) and C-SPAN.org (http://www.c-span.org) which usually broadcast big events like this one.
Another good bet are radio stations that are online. Tune in to your favorite news station online and check them out. For finding stations, try Akoo (http://www.akoo.com) or broadcast.com (http://www.broadcast.com). Alternatively try portal sites like ChannelSeek (http://www.channelseek.com), StreamSearch (http://www.streamsearch.com), or FasTV (http://www.fastv.com).
