Brainshark, a company that delivers online presentations to desktop and mobile devices, announced a significant release today with the availability of the Brainshark iPhone and iPad app.

The app is available for free from the iTunes Store. With it, users will get easy navigation and access when reaching Brainshark presentations from their iOS device.

The Brainshark platform lets users add narration, music, video clips, attachments, and more to PowerPoint files or other documents in order to create multimedia online video presentations. The company's presentations are also viewable on BlackBerry, Android, and Palm Pre smartphones.

"Being ‘reachable by cell phone' while out of the office is no longer enough. Today's information workers need to remain connected, productive, and in-the-know at all times," says Ira Weinstein, senior analyst and partner at Wainhouse Research. "The new Brainshark App for the iPhone and iPad brings the power of the Brainshark platform and, more importantly, access to their company's library of on-demand rich media presentations, to iOS users around the world without sacrificing manageability or the user experience."

Features available on the app include enhanced viewing (using the clickable table of contents, viewers can skip around in a presentation), instant sharing (including Facebook and Twitter connectivity), and access to a library of free educational content creating by the Brainshark community.
