Analyst Meetings launches with FT.com

Analyst Meetings, a streamed financial information distribution service recently launched by Streamway, has signed a non-exclusive distribution contract with FT.com.

Although much has been made in the US of recent legal moves that have made streaming a necessity for corporates (Regulation Fair Disclosure), similar rules for Europe have not yet had such an impact – such deals stand to change this.

The product, aimed at European retail and institutional investors, should allow companies to cheaply market and distribute streamed financial information and other corporate announcements to previously unreachable audiences.

Analyst Meetings’ platform provides support for live and on-demand video and/or audio webcasts, according to Streamway, and is currently used by companies such as Reuters and BP.

Dan Grapengiesser, Analyst Meetings founder, said in a statement that the FT’s involvement would enable greater European distribution and penetration of the service.
